Uber has reached an agreement to acquire Germany's Delivery Hero for $14.8 billion, combining Uber Eats with food delivery brands across 99 countries. The deal, which includes the sale of certain operations to SSW Partners for $1.6 billion, is expected to close in the second half of 2027.
Britain's Segro has rejected a third takeover bid from U.S. warehousing giant Prologis, valued at £13.5 billion ($18.2 billion). The board insists the offer undervalues the company's portfolio and growth prospects, while Prologis urges shareholders to push for a deal ahead of a July 22 deadline.
Stripe and Advent International have made a joint approach to acquire PayPal at $60.50 per share, valuing the payments company at more than $53 billion. The proposal is backed by roughly $50 billion in committed bank financing, but PayPal has not formally responded and there is no certainty of a deal.
