Gold prices in Pakistan fell on Saturday, with one tola quoted at Rs450,936 after a daily decline of Rs2,100. The figure is a local-market snapshot for September 26 rather than a forecast or a fixed reference for subsequent sessions.
Ten grams of gold sold for Rs386,604, down Rs1,800. The All-Pakistan Gems and Jewellers Sarafa Association supplied both domestic quotations, keeping the tola and ten-gram measures internally consistent for the day.
The move followed a strong increase on Friday, when the per-tola price reached Rs453,036 after gaining Rs4,700. Saturday’s decline therefore reversed part, but not all, of the previous session’s rise.
International gold declined by $21 to $4,284 an ounce. The domestic and international benchmarks moved in the same direction, although they use different units and currencies and should not be treated as directly interchangeable prices.
The local fall was smaller than Friday’s increase in absolute rupee terms. That sequence matters because a single negative session does not by itself establish a sustained downward trend in Pakistani bullion.
Silver also declined, losing Rs60 to Rs6,903 per tola. The simultaneous retreat in both local precious metals made the session broadly weaker rather than a move isolated to gold.
The quoted levels describe retail-market reference rates, not necessarily the price of every transaction. Product purity, dealer margins and the timing of an individual purchase can produce differences from the published benchmark.
Future movement will depend on international bullion and the conversion into local currency, but the report establishes only the day’s outcomes: gold at Rs450,936 per tola, ten grams at Rs386,604 and silver at Rs6,903 per tola.
